Research Experience

Doctoral Researcher, 2022 – Present,
Department of Building Construction, College of Engineering, Virginia Tech, VA, U.S.

  • Designed and planned experimental simulations of carpentry framing tasks for musculoskeletal disorder assessment.
  • Collected data using wearable sensing technology such as EMG, EEG, ECG, IMU, pressure insoles, and eye tracking.
  • Developed machine learning models for classification, regression, data analytics, feature selection, and dimensionality reduction.
  • Preprocessed signals by processing, filtering, cleaning, analyzing, and extracting large datasets for scientific insights and decisions.
  • Conducted and interprets various statistical analyses such as t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, and regression.
  • Utilized modeling software like MATLAB and Python programming language.
  • Researched wearable robotics, focusing on applied biomechanics, range of motion, cognitive load, fall risk, exertion, situational awareness, and trust.
  • Conducted quantitative and qualitative research using surveys, semi-structured interviews, and focus groups, followed by data analysis.
